Every staff member was exceptionally professional and extremely polite. Cool vibes inside. Feels like they genuinely care about the experience of their customers. A mate had his drink come out a bit slow and so the staff shouted his next. Worth a visit.

Great Atmosphere!! Popped in to check out their open mic night and the performers were super impressive and crowd friendly. Sound quality was first class. Well done guys!! Oh, they also make their own beer!!

We hosted our company party at The Rogue Scholar and we had the best time! The communication leading up to the event was always quick and so attentive to our needs. We had specific requests such as food allergies and used drink tickets as a way to track our bar tab which they handled effectively. Every employee was so kind and enthusiastic during the party and the event space worked great for our group of 100. Their house brewed beer was great and the falafel was some of the best I've ever had. I would definitely go back just to have a drink and I would definitely recommend hosting your private event with The Rogue Scholar as well!

What an awesome experience!! Highly recommend to anyone who wants a unique way to see Newcastle. Fun facts and groovy tunes along the way between drink stops. The 3 hours flew past and by the time we got back to The Rogue, we cancelled our dinner plans elsewhere to stay on and dance the night away to the fab live music!! What a vibe Rogue- 10/10.

Looking for a good night out with a great party atmosphere go here. We were on the prowl for some live music and stumbled upon this place. Busy with lots of people all considerate. The staff were so attentive , constantly serving never a long cue at the bar and keeping the place tidy all night. The bar menu is simple and we all had a great time. When we visited a band called soda was playing and really engaged the crowd.

Great live music! Can't really rate the food - don't know why it's an option. We came in on a rainy night and had a great time for 55+ chicks

Small bar with live music the major feature. The place usually starts jumping about 9.30 - 10.00pm and often end in a noisy sing-along. Friendly and diverse staff and always welcoming when I've been there.

I always get such friendly and warm service whenever I'm here. The live music is awesome, and Chad is the best! You have to check it out for yourself. This is my absolute favorite spot in Newcastle.
